Ambassadors Join Sulu Foundation Visit

Sultan Andy de Rossi, US Ambassador Riccardone and Australian Ambassador Ruth Pearce recently paid a visit to the Kassanangan Foundation and Library to donate educational materials for the institution's children beneficiaries. THE FOUNDATION FOR PEACE AND PROSPERITY IN THE PHILIPPINES (3P FOUNDATION), through its president, Sultan de Rossi, also donated books, diaries, pamphlets and a personal computer and printer including a cheque of P20,000 for the Kassanangan's scholars to former Sen. Santanina Razul in front of the US and Australian envoys. With this mission, he was willingly supported by the kind Luis "Buboy" Virata, chair and CEO of Coastal Road Corp. and CLSA Exchange Capital Inc. Ambassador Riccardone also instructed the inspection of the Sulu Airport and several other infrastructures in order for USAID to provide livelihood and assistance to around 1,000 former rebels. Southcom Chief, Lt. Gen. Alberto Braganza facilitated the security, logistics and transport of the guests.
