
A Noble Sultan of the Modern Age
Living volunteerism to the highest degree, the very successful businessman Sultan Andy de Rossi and his friends from the Manila Yacht Club and the 101st Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary(PCGA) have sprung into action once again, raising funds for their next noble project.
An Italian national, the kind of Sultan has been so enamored with our culture and people that he has made the Philippines his home. He has undertaken numerous philanthropic projects, so many that a tribe in mindanao has conferred him the rank of Sultan, a fitting title for nobility. The Sultan and his friends, fresh from embarking on rescue missions, adopting depressed lighthouse, organized a fun golf tournament to raise funds for the 101st Coast Guard Auxiliary Office Building. He is joined by PCGA National Commander Joselito Aseniero, PCG Deputy Commander for Operations Danilo Abinoja, PCG Commander Operating Forces Damian Carlos, Retired PCG Commandant Reuben Lista, PCGA Deputy District Commander for Administration Godofredo Galindez, Vice COmmodore Pablo Bautista of the Manila Yacht Club, 101 PCGA Squadron Commander Romeo Herman and PCGA NCR-CL Chief of Staff Enrico Ocampo. The victorious players included Overall Ner CLass B Champion Nelson Yap and CLass C Champion Ricky Macinas.
The PCGA Building, a P5-Million structure, will be the base of operations for the PCGA. The storage facility for search, rescue ang firefighting vessels will also have its own radio room and observation tower to monitor coastal traffic. With this very successful golf tournament, Andy and the rest of his service-oriented friends hope to extend much-needed assistance to Filipinos in need. Congratulations! We salute you!
